Table Top Mountain
The views are worth the walk! Get back to nature with a bush walk of Table Top Mountain.
If busting out the calories isn’t quite your idea of fun, take in mountain views from nearby lookouts.
Table Top Mountain is a park of volcanic origin and located at the eastern-most end of South Street in Toowoomba.
On route to the summit, don’t expect a maintained park, instead you’re guaranteed a challenging native bushwalk to the top. Therefore the walk is not suited to all abilities and you should consider this before setting out.
You can still enjoy the photo worthy nature outlooks by checking out the mountain from afar with the best views from three key points.
- The Bob Dodds Lookout at the end of Tobruk memorial Drive
- From the Lockyers Lookout at the north end of Duggan Park
- From Katoomba Point Lookout on Prince Henry Drive
Pets are not permitted and toilet facilities are not provided. For more Table Top Mountain info and tips see our reception team.
